Established in 1993, the purpose of Delmarva Christian Writers is to educate, guide, and encourage writers to promote wholesome works that will edify readers.
Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book*. They will stand until the end of time as a witness (Isaiah
30:8, NLT).
“Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Write in a book* all the words that I have spoken to you" (Jeremiah 30:2,
RSV).

Delmarva Christian Writers Association meets the third Saturday of the month at Abundant Life Church, 20488 Donovans Road, Georgetown, DE 19947, from 9 AM until Noon.
Meeting attendance runs from ten to twenty-five. Many are beginning writers who are mentored by those who have been published. It is an informal gathering for critiquing and encouragement with
resources to build up the Christian who writes. Although we follow a meeting agenda, there is no membership fee or pressure; however, we do ask members to sign a Statement of Faith. We also hold one
another accountable to see progress in our writing. Meetings typically include a devotional, a teaching, a time of sharing and relevant information, manuscript critiques, and prayer.
Friendships are fostered over lunch and between meetings. On occasion, we host writing seminars, conferences, and retreats and encourage participation in regional and national
conferences.
