Vine & Vessels

Joyce Sessoms and Betty Ricks Jarman were two of the original members of Delmarva Christian Writer's Fellowship. In 2007, they branched out to co-found Vine & Vessels Writer's Fellowship, and in 2018 hosted their 10th annual Vine & Vessels Christian Writers Conference at Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown, Delaware. Their theme, "Where Pen Connects to Purpose" has touched many lives. 

At the close of the conference, Joyce and Betty announced that they were ending their journey as co-directors. They thanked God for the call and the vision and said they experienced great joy in serving but that God had released them for other venues. Joyce and Betty ask for our prayers as they close out Vine & Vessels Writers Fellowship to embark upon their new journey for Him. They leave us with this message: "Thank you for your support, love, prayers, and encouragement. We love you. Keep writing and publish your work to build the Kingdom of God." 

Thank you, Joyce and Betty, for your sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit and for your contributions to the body of Christ. May God bless you in your future endeavors.
